The concept of biocide can be generally defined as chemical substances that are formed as a result of the contact of one or more active substances with each other and have a lethal effect on microorganisms such as fungi, bacteria, molds and the like. At the same time, the word biocide can also mean something like killing or destroying a living thing.

What are Biocidal Products and Where Are They Used?

Biocidal products, i.e. products containing biocides, are basically grouped under four categories. However, each of these groups is also divided into groups within itself. These groups can be listed as follows;
