How to Produce Hydrogen Peroxide?
1. The Hydrogen Peroxide production process has 4 steps. The first step is the Hydrogenation phase. In the Hydrogenation phase, Anthraquinone and Hydrogen are reacted with the Palladium catalyst and Anthrahydroquinone is formed.
Filtration is done in step 2. The catalyst used in the Hydrogen Peroxide production process, namely Palladium, is filtered and removed from the solution.
In Step 3, the Oxidation solution is created by the Oxidation process.
In Step 4, the Extraction process is carried out. Here, Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is included in the liquid-liquid mixture. With the extraction process, Hydrogen Peroxide is extracted from the liquid mixture and concentrated by vacuum distillation.
How to Store Hydrogen Peroxide?
Hydrogen Peroxide has a very low level of stability because it is a strong oxidizing chemical. Therefore, it affects organic substances very quickly.
Hydrogen Peroxide should not be stored in areas exposed to direct sunlight.
The lids of Hydrogen Peroxide packages should not be left open.

About 90 percent of the world's hydrogen peroxide is produced using the autoxidation anthraquinone method. That is, all universal methods of producing this material use the autoxidation method and other methods are outdated.
